So, I'm finally branching into photoshop! It took me long enough, right? I put this together on a friend's computer, since I don't have the program or a computer that will run it. Familiar, right...same story with me always: Ancient computer, broken scanner...technology really does flee from me. Nevertheless, I was pleased enough with this to toss it up here, in keeping with my determination to manage this site just a bit better than I usually do.

However, the lighting needs a lot of work.
The hardest part is that the lighting on your photo doesn't match the picture in the background (something to always keep an eye out for) Specifically, you're lighting is far camera left, where as Sephiroth's lighting is coming from camera center-left (i.e. the light on you is clearly coming from the side, but the light on Sephiroth is coming more from the front. Obviously not much you can do about that at this point, but there are ways to make it less obvious, which are the next to parts I'd like to point out.
Probably the most glaring problem, but also the easiest to fix is the intensity. You are much brighter than Sephiroth. Your lights are much lighter, your darks are a little darker. I would recommend dropping the brightness on your entire picture, and then touch it up with the burn tool, or by micro-adjustments. Dropping the saturation would probably also help, although you have to be careful not to go too far with that.
Finally, unless I'm looking at the picture wrong, it appears that you are casting a shadow on Sephiroth's neck and hair. But tracing the light sources from either you or Sephiroth, that shouldn't be there. The light goes between you and Sephiroth, so neither of you should cast a shadow on the other.
There's a lot of small details I could point out, but those are the major ones, I think you should focus on if you're going to continue your photoshop skills. All in all, a decent looking picture, although it lacks a focus to me.
